Welcome to the land of the Vikings! Take the time to refresh and get acquainted with this historic city before the tour starts.

Meet your guide in the lobby at 9:00 a.m. for your three-hour morning city tour. Visit Frogner Park to see Vigeland sculptures and the National Gallery to view Munch’s famous paintings. You will see the Royal Palace, Rådhus (City Hall) and medieval Akershus Fortress. Visit the Viking Ship Museum, and end the tour with a drive to Holmenkollen to see the ski jump and the beautiful view the city below. The tour ends at your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Oslo – Lofthus

Enjoy a generous buffet breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 8:00 am to drive to Hønefoss and the Hollingday Valley to Gol and into Geilo, a mountain village 800 meters above sea level. The tour continues over the Hardanger Vidda. En-route a light lunch and a stop at Vøringsfossen. In Eidfjord, a stop will be made at the Nature Center with a late afternoon arrival at the Ullensvang Hotel. Home to Edvard Grieg’s cabin, where he composed world renowned music.

Lofthus – Rosendal – Bergen

After a hearty Norsk breakfast, continue along the Hardangerfjord to Otta, through the tunnel under the Foglefonn Glacier to Rosendal, site of The Barony, a 17th-century Renaissance manor. Continue by ferry to Bergen with lunch en route and a stop at Steinfossen Falls to enjoy an inspiring and wet walk underneath! Arrive in Bergen to enjoy the rest of the day in this Hanseatic city at your waterfront hotel. Dinner is on your own - be sure to check out one of the Bergen's many charming restaurants.

Bergen

Enjoy a morning sight-seeing tour of this charming 900-year-old Hanseatic town, often called the “Gateway to the Fjords.” Make your way through the colorful Fish and Flower Market, the Hanseatic quarters and St. Marie’s Church. End the tour by taking the funicular up to Mount Fløien to overlook panoramic Bergen. Enjoy a bit of free time before your afternoon departure to Troldhaugen, the lovely home of composer Edvard Grieg, for an exclusive piano recital in the concert hall Trolhalen — a rare privilege! Dinner is on your own.

Bergen – Balestrand

After breakfast, there will be a coach transfer to Flåm in the Aurland Fjord. This experience will include snow-clad mountains, deep gorges, cascading waterfalls and farms hanging on to the precipitous slopes. En route, drive up the exciting Stalheim Canyon before catching the train to Myrdal. Upon return and after some free time to Explore, take a one-and-a-half-hour cruise on the deepest fjord in Norway, Sognefjord, to Balestrand, nestled idyllically at the foot of the mountains and glaciers.

Balestrand – Geiranger

Look forward to your peaceful morning fjord cruise for even more spectacular scenery as you approach Fjærland, the book village, and the valleys framing the mighty Jostedalbreen Glacier. Visit the Glacier Museum and continue on to Jølster, Skei, Olden and Stryn, ending in Hellesylt. Cruise the Geirangerfjord, pass the famous Seven Sisters and Bridal Veil waterfalls retiring for the day in the pleasant fjord village of Geiranger. Linger at dinner, overlooking the peaceful Geirangerfjord.

Geiranger – Oslo

Prepare for a dynamic last day! Meander through the mountains, stopping in Lom to visit the magnificent Lom Stave Church. Then descend to Gudbrandsdalen Valley for lunch, stopping at Glomstad Gård prior to your visit to the site of the ‘94 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Stroll down Størgata before returning to Oslo, where a farewell dinner awaits.
