St. Petersburg is only a short boat trip away from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Upon arrival In St. Petersburg you will have two days to discover the hidden treasures of this majestic city. Sightseeing tours and several other guided tours will be arranged in St. Petersburg. And you may visit St. Petersburg VISA FREE if you participate in the ship organized excursions! This makes it so easy and convenient.

Note: if you choose to not join the ships excursions and explore on your own, you will either have to use a ship organized transfer or obtain an individual Visa.

St. Petersburg Tour

Built on more than 100 islands and linked by 600 bridges, St.Petersburg offers a stunning array of Russian baroque and neo-classical architecture. Main sights include the Bronze Horseman, St.Isaac´s Square, Palace Square, Peter and Paul Fortress, the Battleship of Aurora, Smolny and Nevsky Prospekt, the city's main thoroughfare and most famous street.

St. Isaac's Cathedral and Peter & Paul Fortress

St. Isaac's dazzling interior is richly decorated with marble, malachite and lapis lazuli as well as numerous paintings, mosaics and sculptures. The enormous gilt dome of St. Petersburg's largest church required one hundred kilograms of gold to complete. Peter & Paul Fortress with its long, gold spire is a city landmark, which was formerly a political prison and is now the burial site of the Romanov family.

Folklore

A colourful and festive revue of Russian folk songs and dances by the best folk ensembles in the country is performed in a comfortable amphitheatre.

Peterhof

Magnificent fountains, waterfalls, statues and gardens grace Peter the Great´s summer palace, which is situated on the Gulf of Finland, 30 km west of St. Petersburg. Restored interiors from the 18th and 19th centuries are fabulous!

The Hermitage

This incredible museum has about 2.7 million works of art housed in five buildings, one of which is the Winter Palace, the former residence of the Russian czars. The vast collections contain Western European works by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Degas, Renoir and Matisse, antique sculpture, period furniture and much more.
